But that’s not why you’re here, so let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I love words; more specifically, finding the right ones to get the message across. I’m a life-long, unapologetic bibliophile (there’s nothing quite like that new book smell) – so much so, that one of my ultimate personal dreams is to become a published author. I just love writing, whether it’s creating a snappy marketing campaign, polishing a manuscript, or tweaking a policy document.
I’ve had quite the varied career. My specialties have included business development, marketing and client management. I have worked for small, medium and large businesses, in both private industry and for government agencies. This means that I’m flexible in my writing style, I know how to pick up on the important points of different industries, and I can tailor content that specifically suits you.
The one thing that all of my roles have had in common was the absolute necessity to communicate effectively and professionally. No matter what role I have been in, I always somehow end up writing policies, coming up with strategies, and giving business and marketing advice. It’s what I know, it’s what I’m good at, and to be honest I just can’t help myself – I want people to succeed.
I get a real kick out of making my clients happy. The best way of doing this, in my experience, is to get to know them (and their business), and then do my absolute darndest to give them what they need for their business to thrive. Strong relationships and understanding the nature of your service offering is where it’s at.
